MyRay Hyperion X9 Pro Site Prep


The MyRay X9 Pro requires a minimum physical space of 60“ wide, 63” deep, and 97“ tall. The requirements for width and depth take into account the space needed for the patient to walk around the device and for the operator to use the device.

Warning: 24”clearance on right side of machine is compulsory. Failure to meet this requirement will result in ergonomic and operational issues for clinic staff.

Note: The bracket or half-column that supports the X-ray unit must be firmly fixed to the wall. Select a fastening system suitable for the wall capable of withstanding a 220 Kg tear force applied at each anchoring point.


POWER SUPPLY: 115 - 240 VAC - 50/60Hz (single-phase).
NOTE (1): verify that the voltage indicated on the name plate is suitable before attempting the connection.
NOTE (2): check that the fuse fitted to protect the unit is correct for the power supply voltage, see installation manual.
ABSORBED POWER: 0.15 kW (standby) ; 2.0 (work).
Power cord:
- 3×1.5mm²: with voltage 180-240VAC.
- 3×2.5mm²: with voltage 115-180VAC.
The electrical wiring must be effectively grounded in compliance with I.E.C. - us national electrical code - and C.E.I standards (or in any case all current local standards).

The X9 Pro requires a dedicated 115V 20A breaker with NEMA L520-compliant receptacle and plug. The NEMA L520 receptacle, plug, and supply cable are provided with each unit. Wiring between the outlet and the electrical panel should be rated for 20A. Surge protection is highly-recommended and not provided as part of the equipment accessories.

Important: Do not place electrical outlet directly behind the column

Important: Be aware of voltage drop! Test the circuit to ensure that there is no greater than a 10% fluctuation in supply voltage while under load. For circuits with irreparable and excessive voltage drop it is recommended to have a 220V circuit installed.

Important: Failure to operate the device on a dedicated circuit can result in failed x-rays, corrupt images, and damage to internal components.

  1. Direct connectivity is where both the sensor (or flat panel) AND the core network connection of the machine are connected direct to the PC.
  2. Indirect connectivity is where the core network connection of the machine is connected to the office's network and the sensor (or flat panel) is connected direct to the PC.

Note: Cefla recommends direct connection

Warning: Wireless networks are not supported

Important: Flat panel/sensor connections must be connected with CAT6 cabling running at 1Gb.

Important: Do not place network jacks or exposure switch jack directly behind the column.


The imaging database should be installed on an existing file server. All that is needed is a shared directory with full read/write/execute permissions for all client PCs.
