EXPOSURE SWITCH WIRING FOR NEWTOM GIANO & HYPERION MRT/X7/X9

To relocate the exposure switch to a remote location you need to run a CAT5 or CAT6 drop from where the x-ray machine is all the way to where you want the exposure switch to be. Either end of this cable will have an RJ45 keystone.

  1. Run a CAT5 or CAT6 cable from the x-ray machine location all the way to where you want the exposure switch to be.
  2. Each end of this cable will have an RJ45 jack, wired to T568B standard.
  3. One end of the cable will have the exposure switch plugged into it
  4. On the other end, by the x-ray machine, plug a network patch cable into the RJ45 jack that runs out to the hall. Then, strip down the other end to interface to the black breakout cable (supplied with the machine and pictured below).
