EXPOSURE SWITCH WIRING FOR NEWTOM GO AND HYPERION X5
  1. Run a CAT5 or CAT6 cable from the x-ray machine location all the way to where you want the exposure switch to be.
  2. Each end of this cable will have an RJ45 jack, wired to T568B standard.
  3. One end of the cable will have the exposure switch plugged into it
  4. On the other end, by the x-ray machine, you need to run a 10-foot network cable up the column. The end of the cable inside of the machine needs to be stripped down. The end out side the machine will plug into the RJ45 jack that runs out to the hall.

Note: K10 PINS 1 & 2 are for x-ray exposure, PINS 3 & 4 are for LED and beep. Any wires connected to PIN 5 & 6 are for stability of the connection only.

Important: If you use your own cable or wire for the exposure switch always use stranded-core wire, NEVER solid core. Solid core wire will fail due to column movement.
